They were waiting to see if MS would force them to take the lossRight, but any money saved is money earned, and that's more important than ever to Sony as a whole, which now relies on PlayStation as its central pillar. And it's used to not taking a huge loss on hardware. And even at $500, the PS5 DE would be taking a loss.

Basically he thinks:
- Sony can't afford to take a loss on PS5, despite the fact that Sony is doing better than they have in a while.
- That Sony would have announced the price already if it was good.
