The question is. Can this beat avatar?The answer is: no! Well, its like a 1% chance, this film will see insane frontloading and will most likely make more than Infinity War but Avatar is still so far away, it would need to grow 37% from Infinity War which is just a massive jump to try and achieve.
Personally I'm thinking it'll land around $2.3-2.4b, comfortable #2 all time but still a way off Avatar. If exchange rate was better it might be possible, but exchange rate is too poor right now. For example, IW made $201m opening weekend in China but if it launched today that would only be $189 due to poor exchange rate.
