am i missing something?  is it literally not possible to search for a game on nintendo's online (web) store?

with my kid wanting a switch 2 and it being BC and there being a sale going on right now I figured it would be a good time to buy a game or 2 in-advance of his birthday on sale instead of paying full price on this birthday.   but the store is like impossible to navigate outside the "featured" games nintendo is pushing me to.   

no wonder nintendo's 3rd party sales are soo terrible.   i can only find the games nintendo wants me to find.   ...and that's pretty much just nintendo games but not even all of those.   i cannot find metroid dread since it's not "Featured".

no.  I'm buying him a switch 2. 

he has been asking for a switch for nearly two years now and I told him I won't buy him one now with next gen so close.  his bday is mid May and I'm presuming a June launch given the timing of switch 1 pre-marketing schedule.  no point to a console with no games so i'd like to save the $20 and buy it now on sale instead of when the console launches and there is at least the possibility of nothing being on sale.  even if there is a sale i'm feel pretty certain nothing will be lower priced than nintendo's current floor of 30% off of their games.

I'll move to my PC shortly and will DM you my account password.   I'll bet you can guess my account name in 1 guess..

well thank for trying but things still aren't working for me.   it's different but when i try to buy the game the store crashes.   maybe the store is just messed up.  i'll try again later but so far no luck.

edit.  didn't crash this last time but i got this:

no no,.  i just needed you to launch the eshop.  i was actually able to buy  now.   

...was kind of a terrible experience though.  first i went to buy mario wonder.   i dunno if i'm missing something but i couldnt' just add it to the cart,.. i needed to buy it immediately.  okay whatever,.. i'll just make 2 purchases i guess.   after buying mario wonder i went back to my wishlist and freaked out because it was showing as not having been purchased.   log out.  log in.  okay fine it was purchased.  then i tried to buy mario + rabbids kingdom battle,.. shop crashes on me 5 times in a row.   log out.   clear browser history.  log in.  okay, now i can buy the game...

i dunno if you've played either of these games but you're welcome to download and play if you want.  i'm not doing anything with the account until i "upgrade" to a switch 2 later this year.
