yeah, doom is a pretty big one imo.    not a system seller on it's own but it adds weight if that makes sense.


for all the talk about CoD i feel like the ABK merger hasn't given enough attention to those other massive franchises they own.  diablo is a massive title for playstation to loose on its own.

Been playing a bit of flight simulator on xbox. First console game I've ever seen a mouse cursor in lol.

It's really nerdy like the old flight sims and I'm surprised it had such a mainstream positive reception. The environments/graphics are really disappointing and just feel like low quality google Earth with high quality random vegetation on top. I took a pontoon plane around the Galapagos and Hawaii so I could get close to the shoreline but even in the air going 747 speeds it doesn't look that great.

Also I had a game crash, also the ai pilot really sucks, also there is hardly any plane variety in the base game, and this is partially a noob problem but I was playing on easy and the flight assist stuff kept killing me!

Black Ops Sales in europe is up 5% over last years (disappoining) MW3.   but...
- the ps5 sku specifically was up 28% 
- so no specific numbers were given but it means there were a lot of lost sales for the xbox sku

obviously gamepass.  we don't have any gamepass numbers either but the question is did the gamepass subs go up to offset the massive lost in sales or did MS just give away their biggest release of the year??

sales of xbox series X/S were down 49% YoY so there was no hardware boost at all.

Switch: 99k
XB: 25K

i'd say this probably went down exactly as i expected it to.

MW3 did quite bad.  I don't have a source in front of me but I think it was down 20-24% from the prior year.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 to Game Pass did a few things in the US... it resulted in a subscription spending boost, shifted share of full game sales to PlayStation, did not appear to result in massive cannibalization of sales, and did not appear to provide a significant boost to Xbox Series hardware.
