Concept:
Horizon is an action RPG from the third person perspective. Features an open world with dynamic day-night cycle and weather system. Takes place in a post-post apocalyptic environment. The world has ended, but it is coming back with lush greenery. The world is ruled by the machines.

Gameplay:
Play as Aloy, hunter/archer. A variety of ways to kill enemies. There is a skill tree with 3 categories (Prowler - stealth, Brave - combat, Forager - healing/gathering). Aloy can hide in foliage. Hack certain creatures with tools.
Save points and fast travel can be accessed by interacting with campfires once discovered. Dialogue wheel to communicate with players.

Bonus:
-Customizable HUD/UI
-Photo mode can change time of day to the minute
-dungeons
-craft/buy weapons and gear

Development:
Horizon began in 2011, following the release of Killzone 3.
Uses the Decima engine (Killzone, Death Stranding)
John Gonzalez (Lead Writer for Fallout: New Vegas, and co-designed Shadow of Mordor Nemesis system.) was brought on the team.
From CD Projekt RED: (Lead Cinematic Artist Pawel Swierczynski, Quest Designer Dennis Zoetebier, Senior Technical Designer Shadi Dadenji) were all brought on the team.

I am really hyped and ready for this game. The world seems awesome and I can't wait to explore it.

After replaying The Witcher 3 and playing both expansions just a couple months ago. I was kinda burnt out on a big open world RPG. But now I'm really in the mood for it again. So much hype

I like it. It would be too big without the tags.

I hope that stealth isn't clearly the best way to play the game. I've had enough of stealth games recently, its a type of gameplay I don't like and I can only put up with so much of it. Hopefully the brave skill tree is powerful enough

^That platforming in that gif is a step above I've seen in anything so far. Despite some weird facial animations in the game, Aloy's movement animations are amazing.

I seriously have no idea how they did it. They exceeded ND as best looking game overall. They definitely raised the bar in graphics.

It's unbelievable. I can't believe this is open world as well. Guerilla have outdone themselves

It looks so assassin's creed. But that's a great thing. GG have really went all out with gameplay on this. It's just hard to believe sometimes

I am going to have to go back to the Witcher 3 to keep me busy till this game. I am so freaking HYPED. I hope Guerrilla knocks it out of the park and people give them the respect they deserve.

That Decima engine is insane. And Kojima is using this engine for his game.
