I feel like it will be a surreal experience for kids to watch in 10 or 15 years.
Yeah as much as I understand the reasoning, it was a downer watching a show incorporate it. I watch tv to escape the drama of real life not to watch the same shame we experienced

I've watched 5 episodes of Attack on Titan today.

Heavy stuff.

I finished the first season of Attack on Titan.

On a side note, the series a crazy track record on IMDb. Over half the episodes have a 9 or above.

Not my favorite kind of show though.

But every once in a while, (every few years), there's a show or movie where the emotions sink into other aspects of life and that was the experience that I had here.

Emotionally I would compare this show to the Walking Dead. There's this sense of dread like bad things are going to happen out of your control. And it's not a good feeling.

Episodes with masks are one thing, but all those filmed during lockdown episodes are the absolute worst now that we're back to regular life.

So many tv shows just filmed a zoom meeting and slapped minimal editing on it.
