Yeah why didnt they do interviews with the devs after? Like they usually do that. Talk about your games a bit, tell us what they are and where you want them to go as GaaS games. Tell us what to expect. Get us interestedit wasn't soo long ago that forums would loudly complain about not caring about the talking between game trailers and all of the publishers seemed to take notice and eliminate it entirely. i'd say the criticisms and response where a bit out of synch from each other.
it's not that i don't want any talking. i don't want irrelevant talking. this included 2 basic categories of stupid imo
- talking directed to investors instead of gamers. things like "we sold XXX units of ..."
- disingenuous small talk to segue from one game to the next.
- ....or worse yet disingenuous small talk during gameplay (this refers to mp games specifically).
