Prediction time: what Sony games will be revealed in the showcase

Already revealed but death stranding 2 will be there. The first is the free game on epic this week.

I'm betting it will be at Summer Game Fest the next week instead.

I personally hoping for a mass effect style sci fi game.

And it seems none of us put the new ip from Sony bend. Even though days gone released 4 years ago

It is but I just thought logically:

Spider-man 2 - No brainer
Twisted Metal - Been in development since 2020 and TV is coming out
Firewalks game - Been in dev since 2018
New Uncharted - Gut instinct perhaps
Helldivers 2 - Been leaked and in dev for years
Cory's new IP - Only a tease but the show closer
TLOU Factions - Has to be here
Sumo Digital xdev game - Leaked in xdev list earlier

I think its still soon for a new uncharted. didnt Sony want bend to do it, but they didn't want to? So I doubt they found a dev and had enough time to develop it.

Cory's game in super excited for. And its been 5 years. So theoretically Its very possible to be announced. I just think Sony won't do so now. There are so many projects that (as far as we know) are very far along. So its definitely difficult to guess which ones.

so I'm going to throw this into the ring,.. one of the indies will be from motion twin (dead cells).  apparently they don't do sequels so I guess it's not dead cells 2 but:

1. dead cells is 4 years ago now.  plenty of time to have another game nearing completion. 

2. dead cells is predominantly featured in ps stars this month.  feels like a premonition to me.

Yeah Bend didn't really do any production. The rumour for Uncharted is collab between new team,VASG and Naughty Dog:

Sony is building a new dev team to work with Visual Arts and Naughty Dog on a 'AAA' title | VGC

Cory's is a tough one as we don't know how many people have worked on it and how much input he had on God of War Ragnarok. If let's say 50 people have been working on it since 2018-2022 and then now it has over 200+ then yeah I think it's possible we see gameplay.

Wolverine is another interesting one. Insomniac are so well organised you wouldn't be surprised if they show it but they might just push it to a September show (if it happens...). At this point it could have over 2 years dev too depending on when they started it.

Another wildcard is Bluepoint. Could they be ready to show.
