With the Final Fantasy 1-6 remasters, almost all of the Final Fantasy games are playable on PS5. I want to make this my next series I'll try to play through.
Final Fantasy X is one of my favorite games ever, yet I've barely played any of the series.
I've played a bit of XII, and a small portion of VII and VIII; but not much of any of them.
Already have Final Fantasy 7-10, 12, 15 on PS5.
11, 13 aren't available. Not going to play XIV.
I played them all but 14. Well, all the main ones anyways. There's too many side games for me to keep up with.

I dunno, those early games were pretty bad.
the 2600 is older than me but my brother is ~5.5 years older than me so technically it was his. my parents let me start playing with them at around 2.
I think my dad had most of those, but by the time I started playing games, the only things they had left was a SNES and a N64. (The latter was very new.)
Played a lot of games on the SNES.
The first console that was personally mine was the PS2 though.
So I'm like 80% of the way done with the first one. Should finish it tomorrow.

30's are a good period. you final have money and you're still healthy.
40-50 seems to be the period where people transition from healthy to "old" and I'm dreading it. I'm on the young side in all my groups and I'm already hearing things like "can't, my back hurts. I need to rest...."

Got the platinum for FF1. Think I put something like 10 hours over the past 5 days into it.
Had a good time.
First game in a while that looked better sitting on my couch, as opposed to being 6 feet away like usual....

Final Fantasy II is quite interesting.
Story is more involved. Leveling system is a bit of a step back, needless complications. The art is so 1:1 to the first one.
Different world, but introduces more tropes that became a mainstay in FF.
Started Final Fantasy 3 a few days ago.
Mixed feelings I think.
It does away with the annoying parts of Final Fantasy II. But literally the very opening of the game has an annoying difficulty curve.
That's pretty funny. Good way to handle it for that game.
Imagine doing something similar in Elden Ring with a boss. Don't tell the player, but make the boss undefeatable until the zone is installed.
