According to Grubb, EA plans to announce the project at its upcoming EA Play event in just a few weeks' time. So, act surprised.
All indications are that it's:
EA Play 2021 is due to take place on Thursday, 22nd July.
That'd be great. Not the original devs so I wonder if it'll be faithful or more like a reimagining.
I hope they make a dead space remastered trilogy. I never played the originals and it would be nice to go through them.

It all depends on if EA wants to fudge it over sadly. I never played 3 but it seems to have been built primarily as a microtransaction funnel.
If the game is treated like Jedi Fallen Order or Squadrons it could be great.
