They won't. Profits are from software and PSN. Hardware is a huge risk if it fails it bleeds money. Their consoles are successful and a much safer bet, they can focus their software efforts on them and maximize profits.But while the Vita had a lot of problems, one of the biggest is Sony didn't push the console. Sony at the time were going through a rough time and the PS3 gave the Playstation name a bashing. Sony couldn't afford to market the console like they should. Today, Sony and PlayStation is going very sstrong. Software and PSN give Sony a lot of profits but it still didn't stop the taking a risk with VR and PS Pro.
