Legend

Onward debuted with $39.11M dom. Awful, no other way to put it. That's Pixar's worst opening for 22 years sing Bug's Life in 1998, and that's not adjusted for inflation of course.

International debut is even worse. With a big budget of $175M+ this one is making a massive loss for Disney.
How are the markets in general? Bond was delayed to Thanksgiving due to coronovirus so maybe Disney will view the loss from that angle.

Not a good sign for Mulan though.
Onward looks so dull. I cant believe it's a pixar movie. Seems so devoid of soul
Ironically, I think it looks better than their next movie, "Soul."

Having a dad with just legs sounds like a classic Pixar premise. Sure the rest of the film feels like Dreamworks but that core story gives me hope.
This is the second time I've heard of this movie.
I've seen a lot of adds but I forget its name every single time.
