New Firewall game tries to have a bunch of button based mechanics instead of just letting people play.

Instead of throwing grenades with your arm, you press a button.

Instead of aiming down sights with your arms, you hold a button.

I really don't understand. I think there is tons of room for VR games played with just a Duelsense but if you're going to build a physical VR shooter, why handicap the experience?

Maybe they just really wanted to promote eye tracking.

Why not offer different play types?

Or if eye tracking was something you really wanted to push, why not use goofy physics and have the eye tracking override actual motion somehow?

Yeah it'd be so easy to use an aim assist of sorts with grenades. Players would think they were just really skilled.

The first game, I had first heard about in on the PSVR subreddit.

People were raving about it. It seemed like a hidden gem on PSVR.

So I was really thinking this game would be a good step forward.

At least psvr fans are happy with crossfire.
