Just saw the mobo, yeah you have to remove the gpu.  Is there a second slot on thee back?
The second m2 slot is on the bottom right. Easy to get to. Third is a short slot right next to the gpu.

Get the RVZ02.  Best case I've seen.
That case is too small!

Time to get building?
Not yet.  Waiting on a good time to buy everything.

I still like that case.  But I'm worried it's too big.  But going into the mid tower range, I'm not sure what I would want to get.
A lot of them don't seem to have slots for a disc reader.  I'm half tempted to get the updated version of the one I bought the first time around. It has a few slots, looks decent to my eyes, and has nice clickable buttons.

I think it's between this and that.

Case is fine. There's space for a Blu-ray drive and 2 2.5inch HDs.  That's more than those other small cases.

It's an mini-ITX case, I need an ATX case. :P

I'm saying you don't need one!

Would like to get an RTX 3080 and a Ryzen 7 5800X.
Sounds like it is difficult to get them though.

That's why I went with a 2060 in my new computer. Everything is so picked over. This way I can casually wait till supply and demand level out.

I think the 5800X will be okay to get. Always sold out, but it seems to get regular shipments.

The RTX 3080 will be a pain. It hasn't been in stock any where in 9 days.

Have notifications set up for RTX 3070 and 3080.
Will get whatever I can get my hands on.

I'm getting Rift vibes.
It's fun getting up at 3 in the morning and buying a $600 device.
Maybe in a few months I can look into getting a new VR headset.

the-pi-guy

Managed to get a 5800X off Amazon.

CPU $450
CPU fan $40
Mobo $190
PSU $150
RAM $185
Case: $100
OS: $80

Total: $1195 thus far.

Ouch.
Budget:
HDD: $90
SSD: $80
GPU: $500-700

Looks like it'll be a $2,000 PC, which is a good bit more than I was originally setting out for.
