[/size]It's 'right' when your console can run at 120 FPS. We're not playing around here. This is beyond next gen. For too long have subtle iterations been accepted. Time to raise the bar, substantially. :)

What is the Mad Box? It's the most powerful console ever built... It's literally 'Mad'... You want 4k, you want VR at 60FPS? You want a full engine for free to develop your games on it? You have it.

I'm still not sure about it being/not being a joke. He made a "funny" (his words) in the tweet where he says he's serious. What is the Mad Box? It's the most powerful console ever built... Interest declined.
The free engine thing either makes me think this is a joke or that it'll be a mess. A company that size making a console is crazy enough, but simultaneously releasing a game engine too?
As it's my birthday, and it's quite late, I want to make sure all of my tweets are solid and logical here. Therefore I need to make sure I have plenty of covfefe in me.

60 per eye...
— Ian Bell SMS (@bell_sms) January 2, 2019
Again it isn't. No one is running at 180 FPS...
— Ian Bell SMS (@bell_sms) January 2, 2019
If they have a real console coming out then cool. Otherwise then who thought it'd be a good PR move to get combative on twitter and misrepresent how fps works?Again it isn't. No one is running at 180 FPS...

We're going 90 per eye, 180 FPS internally. My CTO has just called me and confirmed that's what we'll deliver.

Just for you guys, we blurred the internals as we're still in discussions xx pic.twitter.com/8SjWsdTzHR

The flares are large for a reason... OK this is all open to massive variation and we have other much more 'mainstream' design concepts but the flares have heat dissipation and speakers built in. We might scrap all that though. For now, it's all about getting the 'M' out there...

One of our much less 'out there' designs with standard cooling. Let me know your thoughts. pic.twitter.com/GiQwLovL1c

The public have spoken and we've listened. This is the design we're going with. It might be slightly amended over time... Thanks all for your responses which have helped to guide us. pic.twitter.com/3dadUkz4Ue

It looks a lot nicer than that first thing they showed.I wonder if the first design was a joke.
