Forum size has nothing to do with individual post counts.
It just has to do with how long the site stays active. If it has just 100 active members but for 5 years, those post counts are approachable.
Also there's nothing wrong with some unobtainable goals lol.
It has a lot to do with it to a point. More members = more threads = more stuff to post about
