The costs could be passed on to the publishers to play their demos. It could increase software sales.I loved demos on the ps3 and they sold me on gow3 and heavy rain. However publishers don't do them anymore.
I mean if they don't even bother with downloadable demos, they're probably not interested in paying for streamed ones.
