I think it was a good way to show everybody that he is not the bran we used to know from last season and before. Knowing everything that has and is happening would be a tough thing probably. Not too mention all the stuff he probably learned about his family he never knew.It felt like a sharp change to me. Like all of a sudden he's this emotionless dude but a few eps ago he was almost the opposite
