I think one of the coolest things about this would be allowing things that aren't even currently possible or convenient.

Imagine a VR game where you can cast magic with your hands, but being able to select the magic by thought.  Wouldn't be limited by number of buttons or have to select from a menu.  

Imagine Skyrim VR, where all you have to do is think a type of weapon for it to appear in your hands.  

I have no idea how far away that kind of thing is, but it's stuff I'm really excited to see.
