SPECULATION: I believe Starfield (ZeniMax/Bethesda) is a Mobile game | Page 2 | ResetEra

Coming this year? That would be awesome. But I doubt it's coming this year I think it will be announced a year and a half in advanced. I really hope it's not a mobile game but a fully fledged open world sci fi game

Fallout 4 was ~6 months from announcement to release.

I know. But fallout 4 was a highly anticipated and popular IP. This is a new IP. And whether people like it or not, announcing a game well ahead of time seems to give very strong results. Look at the division, destiny, for honor, watch dogs, horizon for example

It seems like there's a definite trend with Bethesda to have shorter periods from announcement to release.

The Prey reboot was less than a year.  Dishonored 3 was released within months.  Same with Evil Within 2.  Even Evil Within was about a year and a half.

It seems in the past 2 years, they really want to push games out as soon as they announce them.

Disadvantage: less time to hype.
Advantage: less competition for their own games, less criticism for long development times .

Although the schedule does not reveal the title of this game, we can safely assume that this RPG is no other than Cyberpunk 2077. After all, in January we informed you about some rumours suggesting we'd be getting a trailer during this big event.Click to expand...

CD:PR game won't be out until next year probably.
They did hint that they would like a short period between showing the game and releasing. They said they liked how fallout 4 was handled.

One can hope its announced and released this year.
