Yes.

i noticed it was showing more recent "active participants" at the top, but at the bottom just whoever was viewing the thread when you first entered

Yes the bottom doesn't refresh.

thread has been moved to the appropriate section

The "who's viewing" at the bottom now updates.

Also it now only shows people in live view.
