Horizon Forbidden West has more details, but TLOU2 has better lighting imo.

Sometimes I forget how good TLOU Part II looks
I swear it still looks better than 99% of games on PS5.

Boston Dynamicsâ Robert Playter on the New Atlas - IEEE SpectrumNo testing in factories until next year. A few robot companies will sleep better knowing that. Also confirms that the head was partially inspired by Pixar's logo. The hardware just sounds incredible. Stronger than a peak athlete. It's a true terminator which most companies like Tesla wanted to avoid. Will be interesting to see if that comes with battery and price tradeoffs or if other companies were silly for making weak bots.

Actually I guess Interstellar would fit for me. I like a lot about it and it has some great scenes, but I just don't love it.

Does anyone have any movies that they feel like they should like more?
There's a movie called "I want to eat your pancreas". (It's about a girl who has some kind of pancreatic disease.)
The movie quality wise reminds me so much of my favorite anime movies, and I don't feel like the movie fails at anything.
And yet, I don't love it as much as Your Name or A Silent Voice, and I really feel like I should.

So I have a tendency to listen to a song on repeat for hours. That's pretty much how I have always listened to music.
When I was a high schooler playing PS3, I was playing a lot of Mushroom Wars, and it let you play a different song from your library. So there was a song I was listening to, on repeat.
And then like 7 years later, I heard the song somewhere again, and I felt an urge to play Mushroom Wars again, and it was weird.

I'm 20 minutes into A Silent Voice and I've already teared up twice. It's a hard watch and it does it so well.

I think the difference is that those reviews talk about how the port is unnecessary or things like that. Lots of skyward sword hd reviews trash the original. Also 93 to 81 is a lot bigger drop than 92 (3 games averaged) to 88.
Skyrim's drop between the PS3/360 version and the PS4/XBO is pretty comparable.

I feel like that's the norm. I feel like it's unusual if a remaster/port/remake does as well as the original critically. The Uncharted remaster bundle scored lower than any individual Uncharted game in the bundle.
I feel like that's also an issue that playing a game the second time around, usually isn't quite as fun/rewarding as the first time.
Demon's Souls Remake is a weird instance where the remake did notably better than the original.
