The amount of people I see hope and cheer for MS to make this acquisition is just grossing me out.

Platform holders should keep their grubby hands away from publishers. Nobody but the most deluded of fanboys should be looking for a true acquisition war between platform holders, consumers and the game industry at large only stands to lose with something like that.
