Switch was up 115% YOY over BF weekend in the US (Thursday to Monday). Each console sold pretty equally in the UK over BF week (around 100k each). PS4 was 143k+ in the UK year before, so PS4 is well down YOY. Don't think we got much else.

Ps4 won BF with terrible deals compared to xbox. It was a pretty big moment because it shows even at firesale prices xbox can't compete in its second strongest territory.

I'm kinda surprised at the very negative response Resetera has against the Epic Games store. Seems like competing would be good. Strange.

Yeah Smash outsold Pokemon's First weekend in the UK. 63% up on Brawl which did 80k. So around 130k without digital which looks to be large. I wouldn't be shocked if it was 200k first weekend with digital.

Yup I was 7k off according to Bruno! 35% digital would probably be too high so I'll say 20% is my prediction.

This Game probably did 5-6 million first three days easily.

Will do at least 12 million shipped this month.

August which was around the tail end of the time where Nintendo stock kept going down. Im selling it after their financials. Well my dad will sell it for me.

PC people don't want to have to keep their games on multiple programs. Steam or die I say!

Some people are pretty positive.  

A lot of people don't like the exclusives.  Ubisoft has a store, EA has a store.  Bethesda has a store.  Microsoft has a store.  There's already a lot of bad competition.

  Good competition will be a great thing, but it's a little sucky that they are having games exclusive to their market.  

Valve does amazing work.  They aren't perfect, but they do a lot.

The biggest issue I saw is that outside US the games on Epic Store costs 200-400% more than Steam... yeap that is battleship.

If Smash isn't an outlier in COMG ratio like Splatoon, we're looking at a 1.2-1.5M first week in Japan. Decent shot at double pokemon. Looking good.

Also, Smash looks good to break Halo 3's record as the top selling exclusive launch in NPD history. 3.3M seems like an easy target for it.
