According to Hermen Hulst, a Guerrilla cofounder whom Jim Ryan tapped to lead PlayStation Studios in 2019, the group has more than 25 titles in development for the PS5--nearly half of which are entirely new IP. "There's an incredible amount of variety originating from different regions," Hulst says. "Big, small, different genres."

unless they are all AAA and none are small thing like "pixel junk" that's not a ton of games.  they will probably release over 3-5 years.

Well I think it's pretty standard when you add in outside studios like Housemarque.  Sony considered them to be PlayStation studios.

Well its more any projects that the XDEV teams are working on they'll be counting those as well.

Its a pretty decent amount, for sure way less than xbox now though.
