I read it over a couple times, and I'm pretty sure you are right.
That part of the article is pretty poorly written. It just says "that figure", when there are 3 different numbers that it could be talking about.
It does make sense. I can't see any reason that Sony wouldn't include bundle sales. Its a poor article, surprised there's no official blog post.
