Title: PS5 power level poll
Post by: the-pi-guy on Mar 06, 2020, 09:00 PM
For the past undetermined amount of time, there have been 2 camps for predicting PS5 power.  Series X has been largely agreed to be 12 TF for a while, with a few naysayers.

But PS5 comes in two camps:

8-9.2 TF backed up by GitHub leak.

12 TF backed up by several insiders claiming that Xbox Series X and PS5 are nearly the same.

What do you think?  And would you be happy with 9.2?

Ps3 had a 400 gigaflop gpu.

Ps4 has a 1.84 teraflop gpu.

Anything up in the 7+ range is great since gpus improve in other ways too. A great cpu is more important to the types of games I want.

Legend preparing us for a low powered GPU.  I can see it already.   :(

Personally I know PS5 will be a big step up from PS4 regardless.
But I'm still hopeful that it'll be a bit more competitive.

I'm just saying even the lower end nextbox should be great.
