Just 4 hours of story? Yeah that's short, since I'm waiting on its price to drop (and to finish RDR2 and then GoW). I was thinking I could pick up the edition with all the DLC. But if this is the case I might pass and just buy the base game

They should make a 10 hour DLC and charge 15-20 bucks for it though, that can sell a lot as well. This game must be printing money

PS5 possibly using cartridges and that Final Fantasy XV studio Luminous Productions is working on a PS5 title.

Whether Sony does it [follows a multiple console strategy], I think they will probably have that 4K and 240 FPS device that'll support PSVR," he said in conversation with Gaming Bolt.

Sony will now be the leader in consensus GOTY winners on the blogpicks site, with 4. But God of War is their first big GOTY winner not made by Naughty Dog. Can't think of a more deserving studio either.

I just finished Spider-Man...

Really great analysis.

3 hours! Ok
I never noticed how much was broken with the game. A 10 minute review doesn't get even close to this deep.

And he's working on a 6 hour Witcher 3 video.

Two of my PS3 controllers do weird things like they send random inputs to the system.  It's frustrating to have to fight with a controller just to try opening Netflix.

I wonder if there is a way to fix it.

Sticks or buttons too?

Sticks or buttons too?

It's either both, or it's directional buttons and other buttons.

That's another thing that's really sucks.  Is when I go to turn the controller off, the controller "decides" to try quitting the app first.  And it's usually doesn't let me scroll down.

Just been playing the Dreams Beta. I'm blown away by the community levels. Day 1 buy for me.

This reminds me I haven't posted about the Dreams Beta!

Just been playing the Dreams Beta. I'm not blown away by the community levels. Not a day 1 buy for me. :P

Well I'll explain further. Some levels are awesome but really, really short. I don't doubt that there'll be some longer ones in the final release, but everything right now is still a demo or test or whatever. A lot of levels are struggling with performance as well.

I really liked the guitar hero style level, but it wasn't as smooth as an actual guitar hero game and it only has two songs. So why would I play this instead of guitar hero?

Some of the platformer levels are fun, but they are very short and lack the creativity and tightness of proper platforming games. Which leads to me again to say why don't I just play a proper platformer?

There's a working portal gun demo and I thought ooh portal guns. But its only just barely working and they haven't done anything else with it. Portal has its own level creator, so why bother?

Some levels are just bad. I tried a couple of the top rated FPS levels and wowee were they horrible (mainly due to terrible controls). I tried a couple of driving levels and the driving physics/ controls were terrible, but I guess they might be improved over time.

I was hoping to play the beta, see the incredible potential of dreams and get really excited. Yet all I can see now are the limitations. Its a shame, hopefully some truly amazing stuff gets made once the game launches which will convince me to buy it.

People have had nothing but a couple weeks with this Beta, of course most things here will be short demos and tests. What did you expect was going to happen?

This is the reason that this Beta has an NDA on it and isn't completely open. This is a beta in the traditional sense, where it exists to show bugs etc., and not in the sense of like the Anthem beta, where its primary purpose is to sell the game to more people.

If you went into this expecting someone to have whipped out something like Mario Odyssey in 4 weeks within Dreams, then you went iin with the entirely wrong expectations and honestly aren't someone who this Beta exists for.
