Basically, Nomura was way too ambitious and not practical
Which seems to be the problem with many Japanese devs these days. Either they get way too impractical and end up releasing a garbage game because they didn't discard the crazy soon enough, or they have zero ambition beyond releasing largely the same products they've been releasing for ages. The same could be said for some Western devs but it just seems like Western devs have more ambition with diverse games but with practical development discipline. Now I wonder how long it will take Kryta to jump in and correct me. <3
