I guess we're screwed here because it hasn't been freezing. It was just 2 weeks ago though.
So no frozen bowl of water from the night before?

I assumed the equinoxes were pretty universal in European cultures.

How was Boston?
Fun! Went to a huge conference which was great and did lots of shopping too. Weather was alright, like a decent Icelandic summer. I even brought home an iMac and a Dyson vacuum due to the price being very favourable 8)

Basically all the growth is Activision.

And it's hard to fault them for becoming a third party.

No it's the first day of summer here
Usually it's not summery at this time here but the past few days have been great considering. At least in my part of the country. Snow and frost in many other places

Oh and I forgot to tell you guys I was in the USA, Boston, for a week until this Monday 8)

Velma season 2 is out on Max.

It's amazing how upset people get about this show.

Well it's still spring but yeah, it's getting hot. I spent most of yesterday doing yard work. Will be time to plant plants in a week.

Thank you DARPA.

Very little of this will realistically get built, but wow does it feel like the 60s again with big space dreams. Building a railroad on the Moon using local metals, a harbor in orbit with cargo being transferred between tugs and landers, massive power towers to beam energy where needed, etc. And of course almost all of it uses starship for launch.

A bit past the halfway point with the 3rd book in this series, the arrows of time.

Better than the second and has the potential to be better than the first. The big rotational physics consequence I expected to be explored in the second book is instead happening here, more or less.

Spoiler for Hidden:
They are in space and they see another object that is about the same size as their rocket. I thought that object would actually be their rocket from the future, just now traveling backwards in time relative to them. I was really excited but it just ended up being an asteroid apparently.

This book however has them land on a planet that is going backwards through time. They step on the ground and "absorb" footprints for example. Will be interesting to see how it all works out. So far it has avoided time travel tropes which is great but I'll be bummed if the handwaved away details go unexplored.
