Nice. yeah I don't know if I want to justify dropping $500 for a new chair.  The one I use now is getting worn out and not comfortable after a few hours

I was going to come in here, and say that sometimes learning more about something can potentially ruin your experience with it. I was going to complain about a movie using weird chess notation.

But then I learned some more about that thing, and found out that it's actually accurate and was an older chess notation that would have been used at the time. So it turns out that knowing a little, but not knowing enough about something can also ruin your experience.

We were staying at a hotel in a state over.
Bought a cheap Roku and was able to stream from my Plex Server.

It was awesome.

Pretty cool. Full bitrate wherever you go.

I really liked having a roku. Now I just use the built in tv apps.

It was real nice to just have access to my library in general.

Was thinking about how Netflix has made streaming a bit less convenient in that respect. Not a huge inconvenience, but with their account sharing lockdown, potentially making things more complicated.

With my main TV, I just use the built in TV apps. Works pretty well. The only real inconvenience is that the TV doesn't natively support TrueHD audio. Sometimes the server has to transcode because of that.

Otherwise I have an Apple TV and a Roku on the two non-smart TVs.

The Roku I got was just for being used at the hotel room. Don't really have a need for it.
