the thing helping disney is everything they do is very, very repetitive.   it's doesn't really need intelligence is just needs to put on the same show again and again.

Really really fast leg movements if this is 1x speed. Could easily kill people.

This clip has been floating around for a while in low quality so cool to see it published.

About time. Neo was "revealed" over a year ago yet this is the first video they've shown of it.

Unbelievably impressive that it can grab the girl. There's really nothing else to judge since it just stands there, but no other robot company would dare risk something like this. Too dangerous with mechanical parts pinching or robotic arms moving in ways they shouldn't. The backpack was probably pretty light since the robot seems gentle, almost like a puppet (maybe literally a puppet, their previous robot used strings internally to be gentle).

Hands look good but they don't do anything interesting here so hard to judge. Feet are pretty funny looking. I doubt it can walk well.

After watching the video, go back and find its eyes behind the glass. Funny face that they might want to change.

Clips of it actually doing stuff. One thing I'm always looking out for is the amount of purpose behind finger movements. Here, like with most bots, it's more like the robot has learned hand poses instead of learning finger manipulation. It grabs the glass and closes the cabinet like a guy with very poor vision.

Humanoid robots are in public spaces more and more. Pretty cool, even if it fails here.

It has a great speed. Rest is pretty primitive (relatively of course, it's still freaking awesome).

Funny that its weird movements are just for show. The arms and legs only have one real forward direction and all the spinning is less efficient than just normal motion. The head at one point does a quick 360 and if that's not a software glitch, it's just an example of the drawbacks of this motion style. A normal head tries to stay in a neutral position so it never has to do that. Also other robots have cameras on the back.

New hand looking great.
