Haha yeah I didn't care about making it look pretty. You can add any video by putting a link right at the beginning of the code and then following it with "[next_youtube]." Everything else will take care of itself. Videos automatically re rank as needed. I've removed Halo for you.

I expected Halo to have a lot more views. To think TLG and Uncharted 4 will have more views is really surprising.

I added in the gametrailers reaction videos. Their one for ff7 is higher than everything from xbox except halo.

Well I am sure its going to get talked about, so i decided to make a relatively comprehensive look at it...  Youtube Trailer views!!!   Ive taken the youtube videos for the games shown during the E3 press conferences.  I think i managed to get them all but if not just lemme know and ill try to add them.  I Used videos taken direction from the playstation and xbox channels.  There were a couple that oddly didnt get a video upload from them, so i used youtube to search for the largest and most official trailer source.  I havent added FO4 to microsoft yet cause they didnt upload a video for it, and what they showed didnt really have any new footage, but if someone can find what xbox did and is content upon that source let me know.   some of their videos have significantly low views since they came up late or something.  (im gonna add view counts after i post the thread cause i want to find an auto way since itll change constantly)

That's a massive fudgy difference.  Sony definitely left the bigger digital foot print.  And the have the masses / average gamer covered too with the black ops 3 marketing and dlc deal. COD has been selling more on playstation since black ops 2 so I can only imagine the ratio for black ops 3!

By the way, is anyone surprised at the amount of views Gears 4 have gotten? Considering this is one of Microsoft's flagship IPs, I thought it would exceed 1 million views easily, but it hasn't even gone over 0.5 million...

Kick out Rainbow Six and add Cuphead. It currently has 320K views.

Uncharted overtook TLG, not surprising. I expect lots of people are telling their friends to watch it, I know I am. Next, horizon may overtake halo which would be completely crazy if you think about it.

EDT: yup. The star wars video with 7m views is a youtube ad. Its views are artificially inflated and it cannot be compared with anything else.

the uncharted 4 gameplay from PSX has 5 million views, and thats 13 minutes long.

honestly i am. gears is huge and has a big fanbase, i guess people werent impressed, and more focus went to the sony conference. still very surprised honestly. im also surprised the BO3 video doesnt have much hits.

Yes gameplay can get a great amount of views, but the gears demo was slow and boring. A nicely cut trailer of it would trim the fat and be mutch more watchable.

Plus just looking back, the demo was horrible. 90% was them slowly walking around in boring environments with uninteresting characters. It ended with a short bit of combat but that combat was classic gears with poor amounts of action. This type of pacing will be fine when actually playing the final game, but it sucks for a demo.

Also looks like tlg and u4 will pass two million today.

yeah, i was surprised about how bad the demo was. it didnt take me two times to watch it to see that. sure, visuals looked good. but that was it.

It really reminded me of the hospital demo from The Order last E3. Both demos didn't do their respective games much justice.

The Star Wars views are coming from it being an ad. Search star wars on youtube and look what shows up top. Halo 5 video is weird and doesn't show up in any youtube search, but I have yet to see it play as an ad.

Also the "Powered by VizionEck" thing was more of a joke. Maybe switch it to "stats are shown in real-time at VizionEck." so that the link is helpful for people.

And Uncharted has passed 2 million!!!

Really strange how the Halo 5 views have practically stopped. I made a graph covering the past half day or so. FF7 is excluded cause it's just a beast.

Halo 5 I can understand. Biggest Xbox franchise. Sells many millions on a single platform. Being pushed through ads.

What is really making me raise an eyebrow is watching the difference between Street Fighter 5 and Gears 4 grow. All the SF5 trailer did was give a quick look at two more characters. Granted, one of them is Cammy who is a fan favorite for obvious reasons. I just didn't think I'd see a brief character reveal trailer have nearly 300,000 more views than an actual gameplay demo of Microsoft's second biggest franchise.

There's a reason why Epic stopped with Gears which caused MS to panic to buy it.  It's a franchise that needs to be put on ice to build up hype for it.  MS didn't realize that when they bought the franchise.  It's also partially why Halo is so low right now.  I think the people who play it for story, don't care anymore.

So the biggest video from MS' E3 that actually got its views on its own is Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2? That's kinda embarrassing honestly. Less circlejerking about being able to play 360 games and more caring for upcoming games Xbox folks.

But also kinda sad for Dreams, it can still gather more attention but at this point it's too obscure to grasp to really be hyped for it imo, hopefully they can clear that up at PGW. Also the OP forgot RIGS on the PS side. And the freaking DS III trailer has more than 7 times the views on the Playstation channel, that's kinda funny. :D
