ResetEra/Reddit/etc are great at finding news. Big news will get posted in seconds. Even random little bits from the internet that are morally questionable are found and posted. (by morally questionable, there are users that will follow linked in accounts and find stuff that's interesting but it's still creepy that people are getting their social medias followed like that).
But when it comes to conversation, these larger sites really suck. You might as well be talking to the void. Unless you're a big troll or someone who has particularly relevant knowledge, generally your posts will get ignored 9 times out of 10. It often feels like a waste of time.
I don't feel like that here.
I genuinely love a few of you guys and I still like the rest of you. There is certainly room for improvement with having more activity and what not, but I love you guys.
