Spain 2018 Hardware:

PlayStation 4: <650.000
Nintendo Switch: <390.000
Nintendo 3DS: <75.000
Xbox One: <73.000

It says less than but its pretty much those figures, I believe.
They used the word "quasi" that in portuguese means "quase" or in English "almost".
So yes you are right... almost these numbers.

Xbox One global sales at 41 million; digital sale ratio far higher on Xbox One than on other platforms | ResetEra

Quote
From ZHugeEX himself:

ZhugeEX said:    Had a quick scan of the release.

Xbox One had a good year all things considered. Hardware was up YoY thanks to the release of the Xbox One X. Software remains healthy and I really need to stress how large the digital shares are on Xbox compared to other platforms. Global installed base now around 41m.  Click to expand...  Seems like the ratio of sales between Xbox One and PS4 grew larger than the 2:1 we have been assuming for a while. I would suppose the Switch matches or exceeds the Xbox One's global lifetime sales by the end of 2019.

Digital sales on Xbox One seem to be doing extraordinarily well as well, which obviously adds to Microsoft's revenue.

Mods, please feel free to lock if not good enough for a thread.

Hmm, didn't Zhuge say it was around 35m at some point early last year. This kind of makes sense then, although its fallen quite a bit behind PS4/2 now!

He is estimating just like us... nothing official or concrete.

If we use the actual NPD sales with the ratio XB1 showed when MS give us some numbers... I will estimate:

US: 24.5m
63% = 38.9m WW

He is probably using a 60% ratio that give 40.8m.

Dr. Pezus

It's the same number chertZ use. Interesting

I think he has access to more numbers than us from more countries. So he's not simply using the 60% thing, he would have specified if he did.

Zhuge's estimates are the most accurate Xb1 estimates we'll ever get. XB1 was probably under 35M at the end of 2017 and over 41M now (he said they were just rounded to nearest million). It probably sold something like 6.5M last year, so a much bigger decline outside of the US compared to 2017.

It's the same number chertZ use. Interesting
Chertz had xb1 about 2 million higher but just adjusted it down to match this.

Just to add to this, We know Switch LT sales are 730k, so Switch 2018 was up around 15% from 2017 in Spain. So yeah, its looking like 15-20% is the WW number.

Xevross

PS4 US + UK: 34.5M
XB1 US + UK: 29.5M

Very close, PS4 only at 1.17:1 with XB1.

PS4 rest of the world: 57.1M
XB1 rest of the world: ~11.5M

And right there is Microsoft's main problem. That's a 4.96:1 ratio. How on earth do they turn that around? Can they?

Well when you shadow adjust to match the Zhuge numbers you have the same :D

BTW Switch sales in Spain are less than 730k... last year data was for middle January not end of 2017 that includes the first week of the year that was really big in Spain... it is included in the 2028 figures too... 730k include one or two weeks data repeated.

I doubt those two weeks have any meaningful amount of sales in them. Switch LTD will be at least 710k, probably more like 720k. And anyway this just means the YOY boost was a bit bigger than 15%, which is a good thing.

Makes sense. I was surprised when I checked chertZ and they weren't way above an estimate for XB1 sales

UK Charts: Resident Evil 2 debuts on top; 18% less than RE7 (with less days tracked), 74% of sales on PS4. | ResetEra

https://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2019-01-27-resident-evil-2-debuts-at-no-1-in-uk-charts-again

It's Capcom's biggest UK launch since January 2017 when Resident Evil 7 topped the charts. Resident Evil 2 didn't manage to beat the sales of that game (sales are around 18 per cent lower), but it's an impressive result considering this isn't a full new sequel.
The game, which was revealed on stage at PlayStation's E3 press conference, sold best on PS4. In fact, Sony's platform accounted for 74 per cent of the sales.

It means New Super Mario Bros U's stay at the summit of the charts has ended. The Nintendo Switch game actually drops to No.4 following a 44 per cent drop in weekly sales.

Last week's No.2, Ace Combat 7, also drops down the charts to No.6. Sales slipped 51 per cent, which is a decent second week performance for a game with a core audience.  Click to expand...

Very nice sales.

Seems like the $250 / $450 price cut for XB1 become permanent.
