This is crazy. I loved how Sam Altman came across in interviews so unless something serious comes out in the next few days, OpenAI isn't looking good.

Doubt it'd impact existing products in significant ways. I'm more worried about future plans.

Well obviously I still want to use it in the future. And I'd love for it's database to be updated and I can start using it for searches and be able to get links/sources from it.

Have you looked into an extension that connects gpt to the internet? I've only ever used free chatgpt but I remember people were doing extra stuff with it.

AI doesn't work with a database so it'll never be the best at getting sources, unless it's hooked to the internet like Bing's version or xAI's Gronk thing.

I think a good test would be building a LLM that replicates a calculator. If a LLM can handle that, then the same setup should theoretically be able to handle everything.
