Apparently the original averaged 18 hours, but the remake is averaging more like 11 hours.

Its a very brisk game.

I just would've expected it to be longer considering the length of RPGs normally and especially when the game came out  
But I like them not too long either

Not exactly sure.
Game has all the same content.

Some of the new mechanics make things go faster, but not quite that much.

Could also be some polling bias.

Finished the main game in 13 hours.

Kind of feel like I overly rushed through it.

I had a feeling of "oh now I can appreciate the game, without rushing through" after finishing it...  



Hilariously my wife can recognize the game through just the soundtrack.
