Hey! What are your guy's opinion on emulation? Do you think it's OK to do because I want to play Super Metroid, but I'm not sure if it's right thing to do.
All aboard the hype train.

Yes, I think it is. Maybe not if you're dloading games that can be easily found today

If you own the game, I think it's morally OK.

Haha I went out and bought Metroid Other M from Target just so that I could emulate it. If you have a wii or wii u, spend a buck and buy the game on the eshop and then emulate on PC.

Think of it like a virtual tip jar!

I guess. I'd rather just tip the dev directly. Buying a cheap copy in a store will not really add anything to their total (because the store already bought it).

Emulation is completely legal.  Certain methods of attaining games are not.
PS2 emulation is great, because it's really easy to buy a legitimate copy of the game and put the disk into your computer and play it like that.  Only "difficulty" is getting a bios.

I think that's okay.  It's like a DVD, you can play it on a player, video game system, computer.  It'd be nice if it was easy to do it like that with a game.

If the game is new enough, then the store will replenish their bought stock, so if you buy a game, the store will buy more games.

A few interesting updates to SteamVR
Added support for chaperoning. This is a system that allows an application to show a user the area that is safe to move in while the user is in VR.

This is a new component of SteamVR that simplifies the process of adding VR support to an application.
Continues to draw an environment even if the application hangs.

For a game like Super Metroid yes.

If its a recent game (not that there are any systems capable of emulating well except for 3DS maybe) then no.

I think it's nicer to put photos in spoilers.
That way it
1.) Takes up less space.
2.) Doesn't get loaded until it's opened, which is nice if a page gets overloaded.  It can usually be covered up and remade usable.

Agreed.

In forum 2.0 I think that should be a user setting.
