I like how you also digged up my postI came across your post first while looking for mine. Thought it was amusing that we both gave it an 8/10 but viewed an 8/10 as different things. I later rated it a 7/10 though in the same thread.
The rest of my response was for some iced up reason not posted. Im too lazy to right it again. But ill agree that I want something new as well, not just a sequel to something we already know

Me personally:
- God of War
- new secret From Software exclusive
- FFXVII as a turn based RPG
One thing I'd actually love is people on camera. I really miss stage shows and the extras like that add a bit of joy that can't be replicated by trailer reels. Last year was good and did a great job teasing the PS5 design. I hope this feels big and bombastic again.
I'd also love the next game from GenDesign. Ico, SOTC, and The Last Guardian were all incredible imo.
