I doubt it will bem. Animation movies always have worse sequels. the first ones are usually really original, the sequel's usually just use the same formula.

That movie is so bad. Like seriously how do you as a director watch the first cut of that movie and think "yeah it's good release it". So many parts it felt like the lip sync was off as well. Like they were just moving their mouth but the audio was added back in later as if they recorded the audio separate in a studio or something.

Anyways, watched Finding Dory. Great movie, I really enjoyed it.
