Jurassic has crossed 1B easily with no weekend numbers in and the overseas numbers haven't been updated in almost a week.

Could end up being the 3rd highest grossing film of all time.

That's certain. The only question is if it can cross Titanic, which I think it won't but will be close to.

Nah. It's not tracking that much better than the Avengers domestically. Too soon to know if it'll have better or worse legs.

It completely destroyed all records globally in its first two weeks.
Over $500m in a weekend (and well over at that), the only movie to do so ever. Biggest opening weekend globally and individually in America and "overseas"

Domestically it is easily above The Avengers but even if it falls a bit behind it will still destroy it overseas.

Jurassic World is now the #1 2015 movie in the US. Made $54m in its third weekend. The fastest movie to cross $500m in the US. 17 days vs. 23 days for Avengers 1 (the previous record holder)

Third weekend is slightly worse than Avengers's third weekend domestically. Guess next week is when we'll see if JW has shorter legs or not.

I bet it'll end at 650 mil in America and 850 foreign. 1.5 billion total. What's your guess?

I still have to go see it, My wife hasn't been feeling that great, I can't go with out her. I just offered to take her shopping and she turned it down..  :o

~640-650m in America and 1.2B+ foreign.
Furious 7 made almost 1.2B foreign and Jurassic World utterly destroyed it in its first two weeks

It's at 740m already foreign

Btw, Inside out was really brilliant!

JW didn't utterly destroy F7 in foreign. F7 after two weekends was $550 mil. JW after two weekends was $584 mil. Plus F7 didn't launch in China until its second week.

Even more darning is we have third week data now. JW is at $740 mil, while F7 was at $857 mil at this comparable moment in time. I really doubt JW is going to pass $1.2 bil foreign. Want to make a $1,000 forum bet on it?

Oh, it seems that F7 got some huge China numbers in its third week. Well, what about Japan for Jurassic World?

I wish we could look at "global" charts for movies to compare them instead of having to look at foreign and domestic individually.
Well I do believe Jurassic World has a lot still in it and might still make it to 1.2B but maybe 1.1B is a safer bet

At least it should make $1.8B+ globally. Wanna make that our bet?? ;o

1.8B+ globally? Heck I'll take that bet! No way will it go that high.

It will if it only makes about 1.15B in foreign

LOCK IT DOWN!
