If the leak does turn out to be real this is a big step for pokemon. They're finally offloading the remakes and letting GF focus on one big Pokemon game at a time, and it sounds like they're finally making the big open world pokemon game people have been wanting.

I don't buy it.  nintendo would never allow them to make a big game that everyone wants over just making minor tweaks to the game they've released a dozen times for massive profit.
