Honestly I find reading books on this type of stuff is not helpful for me, personally. I have to get in there and just do it myself. I do love me some game art books though!
Well you focus a lot more on the art side of things so that'd make sense. I'd love to read these books so that I don't have to reinvent the wheel when programing.

I only have school books, roller coaster books, disney theme park books, and blood, sweat, and pixels.
