What studios will announce a game? Bluepoint, Firesprite, Asobi and Sucker Punch
What studios will release a game? Bluepoint - God of War spin off
What will be the best selling first party PlayStation game of 2024? God of War spin-off
Will Sony announce any PSVR2 games? Not from first party
Will any live service title be a major success? Concord has a chance.

The shows/movies:
Will any currently announced shows launch this year? (God of War, Horizon) Doubt it due to the strikes.
What PlayStation movies/TV shows will be announced? Jak and Daxter film

3:1 was 2023.    we'll see how next week goes but at this point even 3:1 could be very optimistic.  MS is already forecasting <1m units for the entire next quarter.   if they actually go though with the "doomer" narrative i don't know how'd they get substantially past 1m for the year. 


...and while we're at it let's not forget the potential affect on ps5.    there are ~27m xbox XS in the wild.   not all of them will leave.  not all of them would go to ps5 as oppose to PC.   but if sony's got the supply we could potentially see them surge in sales as xbox owners abandon ship.

I'm definitely not expecting it this year, but trying to be spicy.

But I'm not sure why it would be "beyond optimistic".
GoT 1 took a long time, because they were trying to figure out what to make.
GoT Legends and Director's cut would have been earlier on, when they would have been trying to figure out GoT.

Most of the big sequels this gen have been 4-5 years, we're solidly in the 4 year range for GOT 2.

I think 2025 would be realistic, late 2024 would just be optimistic.

I could see Ghost 2 being a surprise end of year release.  But if not I kinda expect it in first half of 2025

SP are smaller than Guerrilla, Insomniac and Santa Monica though. I just think Ghost will take 5 years and as one of Sony's biggest new IP's they'll want to give them all the time they need. Also Iki Island was a rather sizeable expansion so I doubt the whole of SP was working on the sequel till mid 2021.
