If Avatar had a better plot it could have made it to 3 billion!

Cameron has a good track record with great plots so I'm hopeful Avatar 2-4 will rectify the mistakes of the first.


But with TFA I don't mean it had an unoriginal plot within film, but it literally copied the plot from a previous entry in the series. I'm so glad Abrams isn't directing the next movies.

The Force Awakens is pretty much a remake of A New Hope. You can google it and get a lot of detailed breakdowns. Abrams did the same thing for the past two star trek movies as well.
