I'll go through your post but first let me say that movie sucked bad. I'm no comic book nerd but I'm also not a casual movie goer. That dream sequence was so mind boggling stupid. You can't have a scene like that and lose 90% of your audience.

Basically, the dream was actually the future. It showed Darksied was coming. However, flash time traveled to Bruce to warn him but missed his target and was too early

As for your second point, neither of them really had motive to be concerned with what the other was doing. Seriously, terrible plot

Third point, seriously... fudgy stupid right?
beyond stupid.

4th point, didn't he make a deal with the dude he force fed a jolly rancher to for that?
this is the goverment that spies on every bodies phones, and collects what ever data it can about everybody. so when one person with money, comes and admittedly says he wants to use the ship and body to weaponize it. they just say, sure, right this way. and they dont even bother to know what he was doing?

6th, again, motives were unclear... For every single fudgy character. I thought lex was just the crazy dude who wanted to do as he pleased and didn't care what happens. I'm not sure where you got he wanted to save humanity from. But if that was in the movie and I missed it then woah that's stupid
well when he says he wants to make the weapon to take down superman, it was kind of implied. he wants to make it so if that humanity ever needs it, they would have it. basically as a safe guard for humanity. if that wasnt his reasoning then what the fudge is? if he wasnt afraid superman could whip out humanity, what the hell was his reasoning. that even makes the movie even dumber than it already is

which is stupid and doesnt make sense, i know its a superhero movie. but come on, it just seems like an idea an 8 year old would come up with.

Better question, how did lex know which symbol each meta human would eventually take on?
i was too concerned with other stupid ideas to even think about this.

my answered are in the bolded. its such a shame that movies like this make around 850 million, when a great film like gangster squad doesnt make shame.
