Dr. Pezus

Switch over 10m for the quarter and Pokemon over 16m  :o

Xevross

10.81M in one quarter, wowee. Switch is absolutely flying. Great software numbers all round as well, pokemon is cray and great to see Ring Fit over 2mil.

Xevross

RS: 16.22 m
 DP: 17.67 m
 BW: 15.64 m
 XY: 16.44 m
 SM: 16.18 m

Lifetime sales for each main pokemon game since gen 3. Sw/Sh will easily beat them all, especially with the DLC. Not sure what gold/silver sold but it could even beat that. Its a shame that Sw/Sh are the worst out of all these games, Game Freak continue to get a free pass. Here's the launch quarters for the last 5 pokemon games:

X/Y: 11.61 million
 ORAS: 9.35 million
 Sun/Moon: 14.69 million
 USUM: 7.17 million
 Let's Go: 10 million

Blows them all away.

Luigi's Mansion 3 also had an insane launch, LTD totals for each LM:

Luigi's Mansion (Gamecube) - 3.33M
 Luigi's Mansion 2 (3DS) - 6.16M
 Luigi's Mansion 3 (Switch) - 5.37M

Will easily be the best selling Luigi's Mansion in the end. Its absolutely bonkers what Switch is doing to pretty much every Nintendo franchise.

Cute Pikachu

jeez those results

And holy shame at software. Literally every game released by Nintendo hit a million.

BTW there's at least 3.5m (3.5-4.5m) switches on shelves as of the end of 2019 if Nintendo's sales estimates are right.

The estimate it had sold over 48m to consumers as of the end of Dec.

That's a massive gap. Next quarter should be small then

Yeah that is huge and explains why Nintendo are expecting such a small Q4 shipment.
