It's more like one year ahead.
You guys don't waste your time on silly stuff like English class.
I did take further maths though which means I am one year ahead of most who take maths in the UK.
We do waste a lot of time though, our first year at school is basically just playing in sand boxes and shame like that. Also we do have an English class, we do Shakespeare and poems and stuff
