Does anyone know what kind of things are covered under the Paris agreement?I've been trying to read up on it, but so far no. What I'm getting out of it a every country set's their own goals, and there's no penalty for not making those goals. Hell China doesn't have to move the needle for the next 17 years. It does seem like countries are jocking for position for supplying tech, like china for solar panels, and Germany for batteries. Germany also thinks that they'll become the leading supplier of electric cars, Which is horse shame, because they're pretty far behind american companies. And the cost of their cars are way to high to become the leader in anything. Ford will have self driving electric cars, sold with out steering wheels in the next 4 years. Plus Tesla says hi with the first semi affordable all electric car hitting the road this year. America is still heading down the green path, and there isn't anything trump can do about it. It's going to happen, Trump is simply a bump in the road that companies and inventors are going to have to over come or wait out. It isn't the end of the world, or at least the world isn't anymore iced that it would have been if we stayed in. As even if we meet all the goals of every country we would still still a 3C rise in global temps, well over the Paris agreements "well below 2C" goal.

Higher standards?
Etc...?
Does anyone know what kind of things are covered under the Paris agreement?Basically what Tacos said, it's very loose and countries don't face any penalty for not contributing. It's more of a gentleman's agreement.
