though of course the counter argument would be to release the games on PC so that at least some people can experience both
But if it's not on PC... well then. 1080p + higher fidelity > 60fps

Even then... devs are held back just as much on PC than I think people realize.  Between the APIs and them developing for the lowest common denominator, you'll rarely see leaps in PC games that there should be.
