Which model is recommended for my needs?

My needs = Play Destiny via remote play outside my home.

The older screen has better color reproduction but that wouldn't matter that much for remote play as you're essentially seeing compressed video

err, can't rightly say about the outdoor thing, as I've only used the newer model and also only use the Vita indoors

Not a big difference

I think its better to get the old model with the better colors since your gonna use it at home anyways so battery life is not a problem. You might as well gets some of the vita top exclusives like Perssona 4 Golden, Gravity Rush (Praise Kat!!!) and Freedom Wars all great games.

I only have the old one, but the screen and everything are great.

One problem with the oled models though is that they have dark black regions just barely visible during dark scenes. Nothing bad though, they're easy to ignore.

2000 model.

Although the 1000 model has a better quality screen - the 2000 model is a bit better due to size/weight and its longer battery life.

If I were you I would get the 2000 model ;o.

1) Official sold by Sony Brazil, 100x model, black, Brazil
2) Imported, 200x model, black, US
4) Imported, 200x model, white, Japan

I'm thinking yet.
